[Filtered from Bro Strider.]
[[Hello Johto. Have the curious looking Rose Lalonde on your video screens.]]
I have a question. Especially for those who have made it to Azalea and beyond.
When traveling, what has been your most valuable supply? Of course aside from the necessities such as food and water. But is there anything in particular I should possibly obtain for such a trip?
I've recently spoken with Soul about a few things concerning our travel, and as you are the leader I felt it a good idea to go over the with you, and ask for your opinion on it as well.
It's concerning supplies to take, and letting you know of my general plans on how to go about this.
I wish to be ready to leave at a moment's notice, since that's what it seems will transpire.
[Voice filtered to John]
John, I have plans for you today. Call me when you are awake and able.

First-aid stuff.
It's pretty much a given that you or your Pokemon are gonna get hurt somehow on the road. Band-aids might seem pretty dinky most of the time but you'll be thankful for having them when you're out in the middle of nowhere.
Also, those Potions sure don't get wasted, either.
I honestly can't believe first-aid for our group hadn't crossed my mind. Thank you.
Yeah, that's pretty important.
If you keep going towards Goldenrod, there'll be times you might not see civilization for a week or two.

Thank you Scratch. By the way, I am sure you've likely spotted the mention of leaving Violet the moment Kanaya, Nepeta and Soul's friend arrives, correct?
Will you be joining us?

I suggest buying a compass.
It's... fairly easy to get lost in the Ilex Forest after Azalea.
[He. Certainly seems lost. And tired.]

...and. You look like you could use rest.

The plan is simply to compile a list for everyone, and hopefully pool what we've earned to ensure everyone is able to obtain these supplies for the trip. Only reason I've yet to divulge this and any further plans to you all is because they still need to be run past Karkat. I doubt he'll have any issue with them, but it is better to be safe than have both myself and him look like fools in public.

The supplies we've narrowed down to are thus. Since we have water Pokemon, there's little need for disposable water bottles anymore, so a thermos and canteen for each person is a must instead. Cheaper, and will surely last us the entire trip.
We figure bringing dry foods that do not perish nearly as quickly as meats and the like - such as pasta, or rice - would be the best choice. To make up for the lack of protein there, we will also be bringing fishing rods. Soul plans to teach a few people how to fish, and that will provide us with that along the journey.
We will need pans and pots to cook this in, as well as containers to keep everything fresh in case it needs to be stored. These will also double as things to eat on or out of.
Those who do not have a warm coat and at least a pair of gloves should be required to obtain them, as well as a few extra blankets for the group.
First aid for both Trainer and Pokemon will be needed, of course, as well as food for the Pokemon as well. I will attempt to obtain a map for the Union Cave, which will be our first real obstacle as a group. Compasses will also need to be purchased for those who would be deemed as navigators. I've been advised to buy a form of light-source rather than rely on fire Pokemon alone, so we should also look into that.
To afford this, and to ensure everyone has the personal supplies they need, I was hoping to pool everyone's earnings together. Whatever is left should be saved, split amongst the group once we've reached Azalea.
I am still insisting on implementing a partner system, for more than the reason of keeping an eye on one another. Because there are weaker trainers now, especially Kanaya, Nepeta and Kid, it would be good to have a stronger trainer with them in case they run into any of the Pokemon or trainers, seeing as their Pokemon likely could not contend. I, myself, only have Insufferable Prick to rely on really in such an instance.
Whether we do, or don't, while traveling we feel it would be a good idea to have a fire Pokemon in front, one in the middle, and one in the back, for light and ease of cooking. Water Pokemon would also be evenly dispersed through out the group, so that everyone would have access to that basic necessity when and where they needed it.
I've also been advised that those of us with electric Pokemon should likely bring a pair of rubber gloves for handling them with.
