[[Hello Dave, have a very disgruntled yet still somewhat happy looking Rose. Tired, obviously just woke out of bed, and definitely has something to tell you.]]

I thought you would be pleased to know Guile has had her first batch of eggs.

[Action for Karkat]

[[And now that she's done with that, she'll just be getting up and knocking on Karkat's bedroom door.]]

I apologize for waking you, Karkat, but there's a matter which needs tending, and I believe it requires both of our opinions.

As it turns out, Karkitty and Guile enjoy each others company far more than we'd previously expected.

[[And she turns around and motions for him to follow, heading back into the living room where Guile is quite happily nuzzling all of her eggs in turn, one after another, perhaps attempting to nuzzle Karkitty from time to time as well.]]

[Karkat shuffles on out after Rose, and...]

[Eggs. Twelve eggs. And two Pokémon between them. Karkitty, being the tiny Karkat in feline form that he is, mostly tries to stay off to the side as though denying involvement in this mess. ~~Not that Guile doesn't get a surreptitious nuzzle or two when he thinks no one's looking.~~]

[Karkat's eyebrow twitches.]

[His teeth grit.]

[Really, the ultimate reaction is predictably.]

GOD DAMN STUPID FUCKING EEVEE! USELESS PIECE OF TRASH GLAMEOW! The last fucking thing I need to deal with is more stupid shitty eggs when I've already got ten fucking Pokémon of my own, and yet here you - [A glare is shot at Karkitty, who glares right back.] - screw the pooch, or whatever the fuck kind of animal Guile's supposed to be, and make all these fucking eggs I don't need!

And you! [Now glaring at Guile, which draws a hail of irritable hisses from Karkitty.] You're not even a fucking Mother Grub! How the hell do you lay that many eggs?! In that short amount of time?!

Fucking stupid Pokémon!

[[Rose resists the overwhelming ~~motherly~~ urge to snap at Karkat when he snaps at Guile, knowing well neither of them needed this, and disappointed she hadn't had the proper time to better train Guile before-hand. In her mind, it was a bit of a waste. But what could you do?

Of course, with supposed support from Karkitty, Guile thinks nothing of all this anger and disappointment, quite content with herself and current situation.]]

I am sure we will be able to find homes for them all with a post to the network. I already know of one person whom I can give at least an Eevee egg to.

[Karkat wades past the sea of eggs, going to take a seat on the couch, if he can get over there.]

I don't care who. Just get rid of the damn things, because I am not looking after twelve fucking eggs.

[[With a sigh, Rose heads over to give both of the guilty Pokemon a few pets, looking the eggs over.]]

I would like to make a suggestion, however.

[Karkat eyes her, obviously skeptical. Not to mention a bit irritated at her petting the Glameow, who of course takes the affection sans complaint.]

And what would that be?

Perhaps you should consider keeping an Eevee for yourself. I have already given you ample reason as to why, and with so many type options available it would likely help balance your team one way or another.

[[She points to her bag in the corner, where a small stack of books rests.]]

I've also a book upon them if you'd like further reading before making the decision.

Ample reason? Rose. Ten Pokémon. I have ten fucking Pokémon. Do you really think I need to round it out that much?

[He spares a glance at the stack, but he's being stubborn for the moment.]

I think it would certainly give you an advantage in some cases, and with the ability of five different types to choose from, you could simply save it's evolution until you are sure what type you need.

[Siiigh.]

At least it's not like you're shoving another damn water or poison type on me. Don't need fire either when I have Tildeath. And I suppose it seemed good enough when I got the one for Sollux.

[Rubbing the side of his head.] What are the other types it can take again?

[If you weren't his moirail, he probably would still be arguing.]

Electric, Psychic and Dark.

All three of which are fairly good options, from what I've read.

[[And she has just subconsciously scooped Karkitty into her arms and is giving him all sorts of pleasant attention.]]

... Don't have any of those types.

So, do you really insist on me keeping one?

[He looks back at her--]

Put him down. He doesn't need affection for this! He needs scolding! Damn useless cat.

[[Blinks and then gently puts him down.]]

I apologize. I hadn't even noticed I'd picked him up.

[[With a sigh, she stands up and sits beside Karkat instead. Surely this will keep her from giving the two culprits the affection they do not deserve.]]

I do indeed insist you keep one. If those are types you do not have, then they are likely types you could use.

[Karkitty makes a pouting mrowl up at Rose, followed by a sharp glare at his trainer. Man, he ruined his snuggles!]

[And Karkat? Siiiiigh.]

Fine. But this is the only one I'm letting you give me, understand?

[[An apologetic look to Karkitty when she thinks Karkat isn't looking, and a nod to Karkat. Guile is quick to try and make this up to Karkitty though, making a few Eee!s as she paws at the Glameow.]]

I assure you, I would not insist if I did not think it would be a good thing.

[The Glameow looks aside from Guile, yet curls his spiraled tail about her all the same.]

Fucking moirail.

[A quick glance over the eggs; it's not hard to tell the patterns apart. He points, randomly, at one of the six Eevee eggs.]

I'll take that one, I guess.

[[And Guile is satisfied with that, happily surveying her eggs now and having no complaint as Rose removes the one Karkat indicated from the pile.]]

Alright.

[[Setting it down on the couch, and now glancing at the pile again in consideration.]]

[Karkat nudges the egg a bit, turning it, looking it over, and gauging. For all his flippancy in picking one of the many, he suddenly seems to care now that it's here. Or maybe he's just skeptical of another egg in general.]

No idea what I'll even name it yet. Or which evolution to go with. Has your book got anything on the specific evolutions, or am I just going to have to pick at random?

It does indeed have information on those. It was very helpful for my final decision.

[[Fetching that now, along with her coat. Why her coat? So that after she sets the book down by him too, she can scoop one of those Glameow eggs up in it and sit down herself.]]

[Karkat takes the book, flipping it open to look for the proper section...]

[Wait a sec.]

Taking one for yourself, too?

...I do not have nearly as many Pokemon as you do, so I do not see the harm in it.

[[And that is all there is to say on that matter as she quite happily curls her feet under herself and makes sure the egg will be properly warm within her peacoat.]]

Better that than fawning all over Karkitty, anyway.

[Reading through the book.]

At least these sound like they should be useful. Which one did you say you intend for Guile again?

[[Oh no. Karkitty will still get loves, Karkat. Just not while he is in trouble.]]
