Three years ago today I was kicked out of my mother's house into a frozen wasteland, expected to travel on my own with nothing but the most annoying animal to keep me company.

[There's an almost listless sigh to accompany the narrative. The screen is taken up by the sight of the ocean in the late afternoon. If the voice wasn't a give away, it likely isn't hard to guess who is broadcasting this.]

I'm really grateful that whatever brings people here decided to bring me. These have been the best three years of my life, I'm fairly certain. The friends I've made, the relationships I've formed, the bonds with the Pokemon I've acquired...all my adventures and the memories I've made.

I want to sincerely thank everyone here for having me. And tell you all that I'm glad you're here with me, even if we haven't met. Because I'm sure our paths will cross eventually.

It's been forever since I've done a filter like this. I just wanted you all to know how happy I am to have you guys here with me. Partly because I truly value your companionship, and partly because I'm just...glad you're out of the shit that our life was back home. Thank you for being my friend.

Wonderful. And no, it's before that actually. April Fool's falls on the first of April and it is a day specifically set aside for pranks. It is John's favorite holiday I am pretty sure, for reasons that are likely very obvious. One of the reasons I want to round everyone up by the end of March is so that they can all be present for the holiday at our house.

[ ...Now that Rose mentions it, she thinks she vaguely recalls seeing mention of it last year, although she never got the full memo, or it didn't effect her. ]

I'll be there before the twenty-fifth of March at least, and I imagine it'd be easy for the Johto-bound group to get back there. And some of my other friends might be in town still?

[ Rose is either rounding up victims for John or herself or both, basically. Right? ]

This sounds like a really good time to keep on ones' toes. And to use windows as points of entry?

[ Buckets over doors are a prank she is aware of. ]

[More for herself, but hey she won't stop John either. Though she may be willing to warn Aradia now.]

Excellent. It may take some herding though. I know Dave is going to outright refuse when he realizes we're trying to get him there for April Fool's.

And yes, most certainly. If the door isn't open all the way or closed complete, it's suspect.

Well, it's only about a week after my birthday, right? So he could be brought there for that and just trapped.

[ By friendship. And also possibly Jane and John's birthday. Sandwiching the evil day inbetween them. ]

I don't believe I could ask for a better partner. That's absolutely genius.

[She could kiss you, Aradia. Move over, John, Aradia is a lady killer.]

It'd be pretty hard to turn down an invite to a friend's birthday party! And I could even invite him myself if he says no to other people.

[ If need be she can point out how last year he didn't celebrate it with her and everything. She can guilt trip, though she doubts it'll be necessary... ]
