I have a question for you all today.
What sorts of things do you do with your families?
Or did, in case they're not here, you no longer lived with them at home, etc.
Did you have many family outings?
Did you stay at home and watch television together?
Did you play card games or board games or something?
How did you enjoy your time together?

Or...tell me about them maybe...
Do you live with both of your parents?
Do you have any siblings?
Are you the oldest or the youngest?

...I guess I actually have a lot of questions.

My dad would read to me.

He got wrapped up in his own stupid affairs, though, so that ended pretty quick. But it gave me incentive to learn to read on my own.

Actually, I haven't lived with my parents for a while. Academy students live in dorms or apartments of their own while attending school. I'm an only child, as far as I know. I mean, I *think* that my dad would avoid getting some other woman pregnant, even if he was messing around.

[Maka this isn't really something you should be talking about to people you don't know that well...

On the other hand, she doesn't care who knows, it's not like it affects her personally.]

Well it's good he didn't negatively affect your opinion of books instead then.
Books are wonderful things.

They are! Actually, I can at least thank him for reading them to me in the first place, I probably would have just looked at the pictures not really knowing what was going on if it wasn't for him.

Well, my mom read books to me too, but he liked doing it the most. My dad likes spending time with me, even if he has bad habits.

Have you ever talked to him about his habits?
Maybe he'd consider stopping them if you did.

Correction:

He likes spending time with me, that doesn't mean I want to spend time with him. I know we'll inevitably run into some woman that he dated and cheated on, and he'll whimper and whine to me about how he loves me and my mom, even after Mom left him.

He'll never stop those habits, he thrives on attention from women way too much.

[Eh, it's her life. She's over it and has sooort of considered the idea of forgiving Spirit and just accepting his actions as they are.]

Not in a while, she's overseas traveling the world. Wherever she is, though, I know she's happy. I've been thinking maybe if I ever retire from being a Meister, I'll travel just like she is right now.
