What sorts of things do you do with your families?
Or did, in case they're not here, you no longer lived with them at home, etc.
Did you have many family outings?
Did you stay at home and watch television together?
Did you play card games or board games or something?
How did you enjoy your time together?

Or...tell me about them maybe...
Do you live with both of your parents?
Do you have any siblings?
Are you the oldest or the youngest?

...I guess I actually have a lot of questions.

My mother just went home is all.

It's...a little weird calling her mom when she's the same age as myself.

Because that kind of sounds like family to me.
Well...
Say you met a version of your lusus that was the same age or younger than you.
Would it be a little awkward to call it your lusus then?

YEAH, IT WOULD.
TECHNICALLY IT *WOULDN'T* BE MY LUSUS AT ALL.
IT WAS NOT THE THING THAT RAISED ME AND THUS IT WOULD NOT DESERVE SUCH A GLAMOROUS TITLE.
