Chapter 20; Video
[[When the feed flicks on, you see the view of a cracked egg, a curious nose peeking out of it from the inside. Whatever is inside doesn't seem all that eager to come out, and from off camera comes a hand to gently poke the little nose. It quickly hid and the owner of the hand giggled in response. Setting the Pokegear down so it's still facing the egg, but her too, she's obviously quite content with this hatching. Guile - the mother - and Loke the Shinx sit near by, watching the egg in wonderment.]]
This is a Glameow from Guillemet and Ka--CG. It seems awfully shy, not wanting to really come out of the egg at all. I'm wondering if perhaps --
[[A loud crack brought her attention back down to the egg, where a face is now staring out the side. After a few moments of staring at the outside world, it squawks and pulls it's head back in quickly, which knocks the egg over onto it's side.]]
...oh dear.
[[Carefully picking the egg up, she cradles it in her arms, peering into the hole somewhat and wiggling a finger in front of it. When a paw comes out to at at it shyly, but playfully, she chuckles once again.]]
Well good morning.
[[Eventually, it pushes it's head out the hole, glancing around before quickly clawing at her shirt, pulling out of the egg and crawling up onto her shoulder. Nuzzling into her hair, it peeeeeeers out of it at everything. It has yet to realize that's not the best of covers.]]
This went better than I'd previously thought it would, what with how shy it is. Now I just need a name...Something with six letters preferrably, I think. Any suggestions, Johto?

I might be able to help with a name. Why six letters?
Video;
No real reason. Simply feels like a decent number.
Re: Video;
Good enough reason I guess. Is it a boy or girl? [Always the best place to start!]
Video;
[[He spooks a little at the wave, hiding his face in her hair quickly. Though flicks an ear at John's voice anyway. He's still paying attention, even if he is convinced he's hiding.]]

[As he's thinking, the top of a head peeks in from from the bottom of the screen. The blue fur and overly large ears should make the pokémon in question easily recognizable. Looks like Selina wants to say hello! Move the pokégear a little lower daddy, she can't see! John doesn't seem to notice this fact though, as he is currently focusing all his attention on coming up with a name.]

[[You, too, are getting peered at. Little Glameow will never be used to these people talking on that little device.]]

[D'aww, it's a kitty. He wiggles a finger at the kitty-- then remembers that all cats seem to dislike him on principle.]
Video.
Not usually, no. This is somewhat of a special case, because of how this Pokemon reminds me of.
Not enough to name it after him, definitely not. But a similar name wouldn't be so bad, I think.
video.
Six letters, huh. [Thoughtful.] But if it's like that, I think your friends might be able to come up with a better name than a stranger could.

[[Another person in the box! Who are you, mister? He'll just lean forward out of her hair a little to sniff curiously.]]

Why six letters?
Video
In a way, he reminds me of a friend. I'd like to give him a similar name, and this friend happens to have six letters in his name.
video
Maybe you can use some of the same letters too or something. Or... name him after something your friend likes, or something he reminds you of.
video
A is the only vowel, while the consonants are t, r, and k.
[[She tilts her head, considering the letters while Loke goes to sniff curiously at the screen.]]

[ video ]
Six letters? [ Think think think. ] Do you know what gender it is?
[ video ]
Yes, six letters, and a boy from what I can tell.
[ video ]
Hmmm...what about Hunter? Or maybe.... [ W-why is this so hard? ]
[ video ]
Hunter sounds like a cute name, though I'm not sure if that's quite what I'm going for.

[Have a troll, Rose, the masters of all names six lettered!]

[[And hide he's doing, big eyes peeking out from under her hair at the 'gear.]]
