Chapter 64; Video/Text; Eggs!

[Today, Rose seems extra unimpressed. She's outside, giving the gear a flat look before turning it to face a Golurk covered in a handful of Bloobers. There look to be about ten of them.]

First order of business are these adorable little globs. I'm looking for some good homes for them, because apparently some people - [And here she glares at some point just a little above the camera. It's probably safe to assume that this some person John is the one filming.] - feel they need fifteen of one single Pokemon. So if you would like to take one of these home, please let me know. Now...

[Rose reaches for the camera real quick, fiddling with the gear. There's a mass text sent out of a list of eggs, moves and prices. The gear is handed back to the cameraman after that.]

I have a batch of eggs I'm selling. Most of them are cat or cat like, but if you have any questions regarding any of them feel free to ask! I can deliver anywhere in either region, by either PC or Pokemon, so don't worry about that.

My fiance is the one who owns the Persian and I the Liepard. They're both very sweet. deLeon is a might hunter who is more lazy than he likes to admit, while Liepard is a very watchful mother type.

[Speaking of Liepard, one peeks her head over Rose's shoulder and purrs.]

That sounds good then. Heard a them a while back, and I've been thinkin' a gettin' a couple. I knew a fine lady who liked cats back home, so I'm keepin' a few for when she turns up here. Granted, hers tended to be a bit bigger.

[Clearly that's the most important question to ask. Tenten's managed to get her Arcanine mostly still and quiet, so she's surrounded by five of the massive firedogs. Two of them look like they're napping together.]

Under the porch. Apparently John and Giant were in cahoots and kept them under there during the day.

So they're probably covered in dirt and twigs and stuff on top of the slime, ugh...

I'm not really surprised he tried to keep so many, but I don't get why he liked them so much in the first place.

What's a Purrloin?

[Never heard of it but hey if it knows Pay Day he is all for whatever the fuck it is. Because fuck holding a job.]

[They're cute, but even she agrees they don't need fifteen. She never wanted this, mister. She didn't ask for the Bloober life.]

A Purrloin is a small, purple cat like Pokemon that's capable of standing on it's hind two legs. It should be fairly good natured as both our Persian and Liepard - the parents - are very well behaved.

[Rose, you had Jimmy's attention at "adorable little globs". To be fair, he doesn't blame anyone for wanting fifteen of them. They might be slimy, but they're potentially the cutest things Jimmy's seen in a while. Plus, he happens to like gross things, SO.]

I wouldn't mind taking care of one of those Bloobers, Rose!

Well, seeing as Jade and John are twins, it's definitely no surprise that they're both crazy about them. [Are you sure you don't want any of them, Snake? The Bloobers are free!!!]

Don't apologize! It's certainly no big deal if you aren't interested. Though I'm not sure if we can be friends any more if you don't like cats.

[The tone of her voice says she's teasing, though if you can't catch that her smile is warm and friendly.]

I have dogs too though, so if you're ever in the market for new Pokemon I'm your girl!

What are each of the creatures in the egg like? Do you believe any of them would be suitable for the new king of this existence?

Well as I mentioned, they're all cat or cat like. Most of them are going to be very good natured, as all of their parents are very well behaved. Purrloin and Zorua are both Dark types. Glameow and Meowth are both Normal. Eevee is also Normal, but I'm afraid I've already sold the only Eevee egg I had in this batch. Though if you're ever interested in purchasing one, I can breed one for you at any time.

As for a suitable Pokemon, that depends on what sort of king you plan on being. Meowth and Glameow are certainly fit for kings with a more wealthy taste. Those that like to surround themselves in treasure and wear only the finest of furs and the like. A king that seeks luxury.

Purrloin and Zorua are likely fitted for a more Dark Lord approach.

Oooh! Cats, yes, hello, I am going to buy a poké from you girl. Must collect cats, one and only legit goal of this place. Glameow, I think? [ Based solely on "well that sounds like a cute one". ] I have no idea what a Glameow is, but it sounds like a good one. It's got meow in the name.

That is the one true goal for this world. Collecting all of the cats. And I am happy to facilitate this for you. And would you like to see a Glameow? I'm sure Nartac wouldn't mind saying hello.
