[Clearly, Tenten, Rose agrees with you there.]
Er, no. Or...sort of? Perhaps? He was being very dodgy and vague when talking about this...whole subject. He never referred to it by name. I am going to be kind, however, and assume that is indeed what he was talking about and not some other, perhaps more aptly named, radical group.
[Because really he tried so very hard to make it seem like he wasn't part of whatever this is. She wanted to poke fun at how 'maybe it's some sort of secret Pokemon Nurse Society where they have tea parties on a regular basis', but she was going to wait to see how serious this conversation was going to be first to decide if that's an appropriate joke to make.]

Anyway, it's an organization to fight Team Rocket, and we're looking for members. John and Dave both recommended you to me; John wasn't sure if you were going to be interested, though, which is why I didn't talk to you before now.
What would you be bringing to it, though? What're your skills? John mentioned martial arts training...

Yes, I do have some martial arts training. My mother was very skilled in...well I'm not positive exactly what kind it was, but she kicked some serious ass. Let's put it that way. But she taught me. Back home I could take out multiple enemies and foes four or five times my size and strength with a simple pair of knitting needles, if that speaks any for what I've learned from her.
I'm not positive what all you may be looking for, but I also have a good number of powerful and skilled Pokemon as well. All are capable of working independent of my commands if need be and will listen to others if told to do so.
I am also very good at going through with reckless suicide missions, in case you ever need a Leeroy Jenkins at any point. [Her chuckling suggests it's a joke, but she's honestly dead serious there. Been there, done that, 10/10 experience would recommend.]

[But like the good organized ninja she is, she's pulling out a notebook to take notes on all of this. Her expression visibly brightens at the mention of the knitting needles -- she's recently picked up several of those with the intent to use as weapons, so that's definitely something she's interested in.
She only looks up from the notebook at the last part, and that's just to ask,] What's a Leeroy Jenkins?

A "Leeroy Jenkins" is someone who's willing to run headfirst into a situation that would get them mercilessly slaughtered without a second thought. Typically these people are less than intelligent and do it with the delusion they'll come out fine.

I doubt there will be any missions like that. For now, while we're still building our numbers, there's probably going to be a lot of information gathering involved. Do you have any experience with that, or can any of your Pokémon be directed or trained for it?
video; filtered 1/15
And both, actually. Well, okay admittedly perhaps not so much on my part. I'm very talented in research and observation, but if it requires any sort of stealth I'm not sure if I'd be the perfect fit for that. [When she was into the whole info gathering she sort of...tore ruins apart with her music to get at the information she wanted.]
Pokemon, however, I have covered. My Espeon would have a very easy time of it and I have a Lucario who would manage very well in that area as well. And plenty of others who could be trained.

But research and observation, huh...? Can you do interrogation? [Because those are apparently a logical progression in her mind. Yes.]
That sounds useful. Would you be able to teach other people how to use knitting needles as weapons? We have to make the most of what weapon-like items we have at our disposal.
video; filtered 1/15
You know, I am going to very tentatively say I might be able to, but would prefer to allow your people to be the judge of that before you really mark that down as a skill. I'm can do psychoanalysis, and while that's given me information people would prefer not to divulge in some cases, I haven't actually attempted interrogation.
As for the needles I would be glad to help out however I can. If you would like me to train people, I would do my best to do so.

I'll remember the bit about the needles. If nothing else, I'd like to compare techniques. I've started testing out different things with my own... [That she bought after Masato advertised knit things.]
video; filtered 1/15
I would be happy to assist with that. Knitting needles, in my opinion, are a superior weapon when used correctly. Don't let Dave tell you differently. Swords are very overrated.

I don't know, give me a knife that won't blunt in this place and I'd use that any day. I've never seen a weapon I haven't been able to master, though, so I'll be looking forward to what you can show me with the needles. Do you throw them or use them as a stabbing weapon?
video; filtered 1/15
I used them mostly for stabbing up until I was able to alchemetize them into a pair of magic wands. Once I came up against this giant ogre and I leaped up and stabbed my needles into it's eye sockets. I then used the yarn attached to the needles to steer him off the edge of the building we were on, riding him down into the river below. He was a very handy raft.

That sounds amazing. [She's a little wide-eyed at the idea of riding an ogre using nothing but knitting needles.] I definitely need to learn how to do that.
