I'm not sure how many are aware of this, but today is the birthday of John Egbert and Jane Crocker. There was going to be a party, I'm sure some of you heard about it, but unfortunately Jane wouldn't be awake for it. I feel it should be postponed, so that she can participate in her own birthday.

That being said, however, a few well wishes sent their way would be appreciated.

Hey. [[The cake is no longer the star of the video, instead it's Rose.]] There are a few things I want to ask. One; Do you want to do something for John today? And two...mother's day is next month, you know.

What do we want to do about that? I want to make this...as best as I possibly can for her. Just...in case this is the only one she's ever here for...

Yeah, it should be but, I still want to do something today. Last time, meteors slammed into the Earth and everyone died on John's day.

We could like have a jam session and watch whatever movies he wants to. I got him a couple of gifts.

I don't know what to do. Bro and I never celebrated anything like this. [Ever. Not even ironically.] I want to get her something, make dinner - but uh, you know her best. What do we do that she'll like?

Good, I'm glad you do too. And that actually sounds like a wonderful idea! We can take him to pick out movies and snacks for movie night...I got him something too.

And we will need to do something for father's day too. But as for mother, making her dinner is a good idea. I was also thinking of breakfast in bed. I'm sure she'll just enjoy us being around but...I really want to make it special.

Haha, relax. We can make it awesome for her. [Even if he feels so fucking far out of his depth the trees are redwoods.] As for father's day, we'll figure that out.

Jake was the one who mentioned a birthday first! I just want to help out, and felt mentioning this would be best in case Jake didn't know of her situation. But I thought the same thing. If Jane is anything like John, I am going to guess her birthdays after SBURB were probably never all that great.

And I will be sure to of course, Strider.

I remembered! And postponing makes sense. ...Did we decide where everyone was going for that, for that matter?

We didn't, no, and we should. I'm not positive where we'll be at the time when she wakes up. I mean, we'll still be here of course, but mostly if she wants to leave immediately or if having it here in Pewter would be a good idea.

Well, if it is in Pewter, we'll have to have warning just so we can skip over to Kanto!

Don't worry, I will make sure there is a warning. At the very least it likely will be held in Kanto. I don't know about Jane, but I always felt like shit waking up after those comas. I'm sure she probably won't be up for traveling much?

Noted! ...Ah, just think, three more gyms and we'll all be in the same region again, at least.

Olivine, Mahogany, and Blackthorn!

...And Olivine has a train or something to Kanto, doesn't it? So maybe by the time we have the party, we'll be down to needing only two badges.

Possibly...I wasn't in Olivine enough to look into that sort of transportation honestly! Blackthorn was one of my favorite gyms in Johto.

I think that's one of the places we can get across for, at least, which makes things a lot simpler!

And it was just a more challenging gym. By the time I was reaching some of those gyms, my Pokemon far out-leveled the ones I was facing so they weren't too difficult.

I've experienced that, too, I think. Mostly because we had to skip around a bit in the start, but...

My location vote is anywhere that isn't goddamned Goldenrod.

I'm hoping we can keep it in Kanto. I'm sure the group would agree. Possibly even in Pewter, since that's where we are currently and will likely be stuck until Jane wakes up.

Perhaps I should have made this a plotting post, rather than just a mention of postponement. But I don't want to take the thunder from Jake...hm.

Pewter seems like a good location. It's small, but not so small it can't accept a party, and a lot of us are here already.

Well, you could do a little traveling still? Unless you want to wait for Jane as well. I'm mostly going to be studying the Pokemon surrounding this area when I'm not training. I may see if Brock would be up to a little sparring now and again...I don't know if Gym leaders are up for that, but it never hurts to ask right?

I'm done with traveling for a while. I don't mind being stationary. Just give me shit to do. And if Brock doesn't spar with you, I will.

Well then, we won't travel! I certainly don't blame you for that feeling either. You could always come with me on my studying? I don't stray too far from town, just a little ways into the routes around it. And even if he does, I would still enjoy sparing with you.

Why isn't Jane awake on her birthday, Rose? [ -- that sure is the voice of one concerned parental who is presently very much in the dark. Literally, but figuratively, too, not that the former is obvious. She may sound a bit tired, though. ]
