Chapter 4; [Text/Action - Filtered]
[The following message is sent to the Pokegears of John, Eridan, Vriska, Aradia and Gamzee.]
Good day. For those who don't know, I am Rose Lalonde. I am going to attempt in organizing our travel party so we may move on to Violet.
If you are questioning my hand in authority of this matter, you are free to contact John for confirmation.
First, I would suggest everyone prepare for the trip if you have not already. Be sure you have food for the journey ahead, as it will take us at least a week to arrive, perhaps longer depending on how smoothly this goes. Do make sure you have warm clothing for the travel as well. Luckily, Othur has a fire Pokemon to help provide heat. If anyone else also owns a fire Pokemon, do let me know so I may plan accordingly.
We will be meeting in the lobby of the local hotel for preliminary instructions, group preparations and a head count to ensure no one is left behind. In light of how easy it apparently is to get lost within the forest outside of town, I have gone to the locals and one kind man gave me a map for the area, which I have copied and will give to each of you.
Thank you for your cooperation.

[[Rose is sitting in the Lobby with Wooper in lap and Hoothoot in hair, accompanied by the aforementioned Othur who was currently trying to entertain his Togepi, a Quilava leaning against his leg. The rest of his Pokemon were in their Pokeballs and would likely stay there for the duration of the trip. She had already let him know what was going on and how the entire ordeal would be going down, and all that was left was to wait for the others so they would all be up to speed and ready.]]

[He looks at his bag of cheezypuffs and looks at his backpack. Then back at Rose.]
Define junkfood.
no subject
[[She points to the bag of cheezypuffs.]]
In example, that.
no subject
Guess I should buy different food, huh.
[Yeah. He bought a fuck ton of cheezypuffs and soda for the road.]
no subject
Yes. You should. Should I write you a list of proper travel food, so you know what to get?
Actually, on second thought - [[And she will jot you down a list anyway, not caring if you want it or not.]] - here. Look for food like that.
no subject
None of this food ewen tastes good.
no subject
I believe I said to look for food like it. Meaning to browse for food that is similar to this, yet is similar to your tastes. If you cannot do that, do not cry when you run out of food.

If that's the case, do you even have any money left?

I will be assigning you a travel partner, once I have a better grip on who all we are traveling with. You are to remain with said partner for the duration of the trip to ensure your survival.
If I have to, I will also assign you an eating schedule. If you wish to avoid this, I suggest you stop eating your only food for the trip before we even embark upon it.

Karkat had better not blame me for you showing up starved and likely infected with who knows how many illnesses.
no subject
So...W-who's my partner goin' to be?
no subject
Much to my dismay, I may be the one to chaperon you in the end.

You saw nothing. >>
[Pout pout. Yes, he's going to throw a fit about this.]
no subject
[[His pouting, however, gave her an idea, and she stood up with her bag and Wooper, giving Eridan a smile.]]
Follow me, if you would.
no subject
[Still pouting, he puts his bag of food back in his backpack and stands up. Then he brushes off the crumbs from the cheezypuffs and follows her.]
no subject
Here. Pick something sweet out. Something you do not normally get to enjoy. Not more of those cheese puffs. Make sure it is something you really, really like.
no subject
[He perks up at this and looks at the sweets. He thinks for a moment and picks out a bag of strawberry and cream hard candies.]
Oh, and before w-we leawe, may I go look for somethin'?
no subject
What are you looking for?
no subject
[He runs over to the beverage section and starts to do a thorough search. He's practically throwing all of the bottles of soda while searching. He almost gives up until-- what was this? He smiles as he spots a pretty good looking substitute or Faygo. Fanta. He takes 5 of each flavor and walks back over to Rose, forgetting about a,ll of the bottles still on the ground.]
I needed to find a substitute for Faygo for Gam since he's been needin' some.
no subject
I'm not paying for that.
[[She then buys the candy he had chosen, waiting for him outside.]]
