Having a plan in mind wouldn't hurt. After all, you really can't depend on Eridan not to do something such as that at this point. As much of a coward as he can be, he can also be equally as stupid.

And while Soul and you are both very capable, that still leaves you relying on Soul if you happen to snap again.

Which, again, I'd like to bring up Eridan's stupidity here.
