Chapter 66; Text
John's gone home.
John Egbert, I mean.
[You'll need to look at the trainer tag to figure out who this is today. There's no colorful text or snarky horseshit to identify Rose as instantaneously as there would be before. And maybe the reason why is obvious with those first two sentences.]
I've noticed a few of his Pokemon aren't here.
If they've ended up with you, will you please let me know?
They were as much his family as they were mine, so I'd like to know they're safe.
Maybe offer you child support, haha.

[And even so, she hasn't felt like she's been a very wonderful friend to Rose. Befriending her dad and monopolizing all of his time, becoming so awkward towards her brother that she didn't want to even come near for a visit. Actually for all intents and purposes, Maka would say she's been pretty crappy.
But it's not about her.]
We'll have such a good time that John will feel so bad back in your world for missing it. It'll be that fun, he'll snap up and go "wait a second i feel like i'm missing some prime fun time oh no!!!! :((("

Yeah.
And he'll have to come right back.

You know, when I'm sad, I write poetry. It helps me get my thoughts out.
[And it lets her avoid burdening anyone with her problems, but saying that would imply that hearing about Rose's issue is a burden and it's not at all.]
