Chapter 65; Text/Action for Blackthorn

"Once in a dark and desolate world
There sat a seer lost.
Surrounded by walls made to keep others out
And away at any cost.

Her tongue was sharp and quick to bite
At any who strayed too close.
It didn't matter who or what they were
Her caution was strictly imposed.

But then came an heir from a land ruled by wind
Whose eyes were a brilliant blue.
And though she was dour, steadfast he stood
Attempting to befriend the shrew.

"It's futile," she warned as he tried to get close
She put up every defense
But his fulgid smile wavered not once
His light she could not dispense

Soon she caved, fell in love with the heir
And together they lived happily.
What I'm trying to say with these words and rhymes
Is this should be you and me."

If you were to receive this poem in a card with a box of chocolates and a bouquet of roses, would it win your heart?
Well, provided it actually applied to you.
I realize this is obviously very specific to the person I plan on giving this to, but work with me, please.
This is difficult enough as it is, okay?

[If it's hard to tell, at least half of the Lalonde-Egbert family has ended up in Blackthorn and is sorely suffering from those lovely aftereffects. Hopefully everyone will forgive the incoming cheese because there's no wine to go with it.

If you're in the Blackthorn area, you could skip all of the headache that will surely come with replying to her text message and just go ask what is up with her in person. She's sitting out in the sun, daydreaming and scribbling away at probably another awful love poem...]
