[He looks a little worse for wear, which has the tendency to happen when you spend three and a half days sleeping outside in the cold, living off of mushrooms and Omanyte-water. Speaking of, guess who's with him? That's right! DJ is sitting in John's lap looking perfectly happy because he's an oblivious little fossilmon and doesn't seem to have fully realized just how bad the situation he and papa landed in was. Sassacre is seated as always on John's head, while Casey is standing just behind them. She looks mildly disgruntled and her fur is kind of a mess for much the same reason John looks like poo.]

Hey Rose, it's me. I uh...hope I didn't worry you guys too much but I'm alive.

[Maybe it's just the lighting, but it almost seems like the nigh-invisible peach fuzz John's been sporting on his upper lip since the middle of last month seems to be a bit more...distinctly visible. Holy shit, he might actually have to start shaving it soon.]
