[OOC] Christmas gifts '12
EVERYONE SHE HAS EVER RECEIVED THE NAME OF gets chocolates. Handmade fudge, to be exact. No nut anything, because she has boys with allergies to think of, so it's just mostly plain sorry. But they are lovingly handmade and decorated for the season! Literally. If she met you at the tournament (including her two opponents. Kayneth gets a little extra for losing ;D), just a brief conversation over the network, whatever. You're getting chocolate with a note that says "Happy Holidays ~Rose Lalonde".
ALL HAMSTEAKS (minus Eridan and Karkat) are getting hand knitted onesies. They have varying styles of collar (but almost all of them are turtle necks of some sort. Jade and Jake both have hoods with dog ears and a dog tail attached to their buttflap oops), include buttflaps, button up the front, Prospits get slippers and no footies with theirs, Dersites get footies, and each of them feature a patch of their favorite Pokemon sewn into the right side of the chest (Save for Jake, who gets a bullfairy, and Bro, who gets a smuppet). They are in colors as close to their text/blood/eye colors as possible. They are very tacky, with some typical christmas sweater patterns stitched in (in complimenting colors to the main one of course) along with some pokeballs here and there.
KARKAT AND VANITAS get horribly, horribly ugly Christams tacky ones. Everything from above is true, but replace 'in their text/blood/whatever colors' with 'UGLY SWEATER LEVELS OF TACKY COLORS'. Because she knows Karkat is sensitive about his blood but grey is not allowed. And she knows he'll be more accepting if Vani is stuck in the same situation. Both come with hoods. Vani gets Prospit style no footies + slipper combo.
ERIDAN gets a magikarp themed onesie. it's red, with a hood that has a fin, as well as the hood opening resembling the mouth of Magikarp with an eye on either side. Attached to the arms going down the side is offwhite fabric, made to mimic fins there as well, and there's a tailfin on the buttflap.
DAVE AND JOHN get ONE GIANT BOX addressed to both of them. What's inside of it? Everything you need to start learning about and playing Dungeons and Dragonites. Literally everything that is needed to introduce you.
Aradia - A trenchcoat! A long, sandy brown one. Along with some escape ropes and other things necessary for a Johtonian/Kantonian explorer. And, since Aradia likes eggs so much, she's going to get a Togepi to add to her mix. (Egg moves:Toxic, Flamethrower, Grass Knot, Rock Smash)
Bro - How does a knitted smuppet with a onesy that matches his sound? He's also getting an IOU on a Snuggie. She didn't have time to make one on top of everything else, but he'll get one!!!!!!! Bro is also getting a Houndour egg.
Dave - Dave gets a double-thick sweater (knitted outside sewn to a really, really warm Flaffy wool lining) big enough to drown in, along with some Flaffy-wool lined winter boots. The former is red, the latter is white. He is also getting a suit. The suit itself is black, the tie accompanying it is black, and the dress shirt is a dark maroon. It is of course accompanied by some fine dress shoes.
Dirk - DOES...A SMUPPET WORK OKAY TOO? KNITTED. SHE DOESN'T KNOW. DO YOU STILL LIKE THESE THINGS? Dirk is also going to receive a Houndour egg.
Cheria - Cheria is getting a warm, pink peacoat and knit pink leg warmers. Along with this is a Feebas egg.
Hayate - GUESS WHO IS GETTING THE TACKIEST POKEMON THEMED SWEATER. THIS GUY.
Jade - Jade is getting a modern but elegant black dress with bright green accents. The style is reminiscent of her Three in the Morning dress.
Jake - Jake is getting a first aid kit that is Pokemon themed (meaning cute little Happini and Buneary and girly babby Pokemon all over the Bandaids) as well as a canteen that's Numel themed.
Jane - Jane is getting a baking set that is Audino themed, as well as some personal recipes for chocolates and fudge. Not that she thinks she needs them, but it's a sentimental thing to exchange recipes right? (There's also a note stating that if she's interested in learning the art of Pokefood and treat making, Rose would be more than happy to teach her.) Included in all of this is a Cherubi egg.
John - A plain tie necklace. Along with this, he's getting a real, garishly green argyle tie. What else is Rose getting him? A suit. It's a black suit, with a vibrant navy blue dress shirt and a black tie. It also comes with a black fedora with, again, a vibrant navy band, and is accompanied by a fine pair of dress shoes.
Kanaya - Kanaya is receiving a care package to start her off, including lots of Pokemon essentials such as potions and antidotes. She's got a very fashionable black peacoat, a jade hand knitted scarf and mittens, and some lovely winter boots as well. Along with this is a tin of homemade Pokemon food, labled clearly so she doesn't eat it or anything. She's also getting a Mawile egg. (Egg moves:Baton Pass, Flamethrower, Rock Smash)
Karkat - A pair of black slacks, a silver dress shirt and a pinstripe black vest. There's of course a pair of dress shoes that match. A note that tells him to check with Vani for why. Also getting a book series that mainly revolves around two best friends and their hardships together.It's as close to a moirail romance story as she can find okay? And she looked through a lot of friendship books. She's going to try and find a book that is as close to each quadrant as she can, and this is the first one.
Luke - LOTS OF STUFFED ANIMALS. Lots of really cute Pokemon plush, from Cleffa and Igglybuff to Teddiursa, Pichu, Plusle, Minun, just. Imagine getting a box full of like fifteen or twenty of them. Along with a TACKY CHRISTMAS SWEATER that will be a little too big on him. Luke is also getting an Eevee egg. (Egg moves: Tackle, Tail Whip, Sand Attack, Quick Attack, Last Resort, Iron Tail, Toxic, Dig, Double Team, Sunny Day, Return, Body Slam, Mimic, Sleep Talk, Swift, Headbutt, Hyper Voice, Covet, Substitute)
Mom - Mom is getting a far more fashionable winter coat than the one she initially bought her, along with a pair of knee high winter boots and some black fleece lined leggings. She's also getting a Ponyta egg. THE GIFT IS COMING FULL CIRCLE. (Egg moves: Captivate, Hypnosis, Charm, Growl, Toxic, Iron Tail, Swift)
Reid - Reid is getting a TACKY Christmas scarf, along with a pair of mittens to match, and a tin of homemade Pokemon food, labled clearly so he doesn't eat it or anything!
Vanitas - A pair of black slacks, a deep red dress shirt and a golden tie. Included is a free dinner coupon to one of the ritzier joints in Goldenrod. A note that says explain this to Karkat.
Riku - 25,000P for the center as well as an extremely large batch of handmade healthy Pokemon food and some healthy treats to help with training. (When we same extremely large, we mean she needed to borrow Giant and use Vodka to deliver both batches. They come in properly labeled boxes.) Included is a note of ingredients in each, as well as the fact that the food is meant to encourage healthy growth and energy.
