As I see it is that time again in Johto, I would like to make a general "Welcome to the magical world of Pokemon" statement to all new comers. I'm Rose, and if I have not personally introduced myself yet, my apologies.

I would just like to offer my knowledge to you all, especially those of you who are breeders. I'm no expert, but I have gathered many notes over my time here and I always want to share this knowledge.

For those of you with no interest in that, I do still want to talk to you! About what, you ask? Just you.

It's been a little while since we've heard a location update from you, and while I try not to be nosy I do like knowing where you are.

That would be it, yes. It would make traveling unbearable to begin with, but it's even worse when the only Pokemon you can ride is some sort of firey unicorn.

Ah yes. The combination of Rapidash with the heat can't be comfortable. I've heard their flames don't burn as hot for those they're fond of. I'm not certain this is true or not, but it's something to consider at least. Where are you traveling to?

That may explain why it's so unbearable, then. He originally belonged to my former traveling partner, and I received him a short time ago when he returned to our world.

I was initially planning on Azalea, but I'm making a detour to Goldenrod first.

Once he warms up to you, hopefully his flames won't be so hot. And oh? Luckily the Sudowoodo initially blocking the path seems to have moved on, so such a detour certainly isn't a bad idea. Plan on visiting the department store?

It would make traveling much more bearable, yes. At the very least, they seem to have some sort of property that prevents them from actually harming me.

That happened? It must have been awfully inconvenient to deal with. Well, anyway, yes-that's my reason for going there in the first place.

That, as far as I have observed, is based on relationship as well. A Rapidash is just as capable of burning a person they dislike as they are of not harming those they don't mind.

For quite a while, the Sudowoodo blocked the shortcut. If you didn't have a Wailmer Pail to water them with, you wouldn't be able to pass.

What a curious property... granted, it's not too surprising to hear that something about a Pokemon doesn't follow conventional logic.

...Well, I am certainly glad that I have never had to deal with that.
