Chapter 35; Video
[[Good afternoon, Johto. Have you noticed how it has gotten a tad chillier as of late? I bet you have.
So has Rose, judging from the fact she's wearing her light jacket once more. Of course, the cold is not what she is here to discuss.
No, it's the rain she is interested about.]]
I have a few questions. I've done a little venturing of my own within the stores around Goldenrod - and naming said city might make these a bit of a shock - but I am having a bit of trouble finding a few things.
Tarps, being one of them. I would figure they would be in a weather-like aisle, would they not? I wouldn't know, I've never needed to shop for tarps. However, I feel they would likely be useful, as I'm sure it is going to begin raining soon. If Johto is anything like New York during the fall.
I'm also curious as to if there are any stores that sell Pokemon clothes. Not costumes, but clothes. I'm in the market for a raincoat or two. And while I can knit, it isn't as if yarn is waterproof.
Thank you.

[[Once that feed ends, another one is opened, this aimed to two people in particular: Dave and John.]]
Hello you two. I have a favor to ask of you both. Do you believe I could borrow you for the afternoon?

Yeah, I can do that. I'm going to have to run by the pokécenter first though. Lestat's in the box. Where do you want me to meet you?

My room would be lovely.

[Feel free to call him back and get the last word in, Rose. Meanwhile, he's going to dash out the door, down the stairs, and outside. Then aaaaaall the way over to the pokécenter. Then aaaaall the way back to the hotel, up the stairs once more and down the hall to your hotel room. Knock knock, Rose.]
[And, sure enough, it only took him about ten minutes!]
Action!
And goodness, he wasn't kidding when he said ten minutes? Did you run, John? You really didn't have to! However, she wastes no time in opening the door.]]
Thank you for your assistance. I really appreciate it.
[[And you will too, if for nothing else other than the chaste kiss to the cheek you're getting.]]
Action-y action!
[He giggles a little bit at the cheek kiss, and closes the door behind him once Casey has scampered in. Eeeeeee what's going on? 8D]
It's no problem! What did you need help with?
There is so much action here, you don't even know.
[[She is going to lead him towards the den, where a various amount of different colored yarn is scattered about. All kept in neat little balls, of course, but there are quite a few of said balls. They seem to be grouped together, and only one of them is being used as of current. There is also a measuring tape on the table.]]
can't handle all this aaaaactiooooonnnn.
Uhh...I hope you don't need help with a knitting project. Because I will be of absolutely no use there, sorry.
It's hanging from the ceiling and bouncing off the walls.
[[Picking up the aforementioned measuring tape, she motions for him to come closer.]]
Actually, I need to take a few measurements. Remove your jacket, please.
trying to escape out the windows but OH SNAP the windows are closed. silly action. hitting the glass
Measurements for wha-- Casey no! Don't touch those, please! [But daddy, this yarn stuff is so interesting! And so pink! She wants to play with it! 8<]
Poor action. Just doesn't get any. Of the outdoors, that is.
[[Not that she wasn't already planning to, but whatever.]]
Thank you again, John. Hold your arms out to your sides for me?
iseewhatyoudidthere
Uh... [He sticks his arms straight up and out, not unlike an
heirplaneairplane.] Like this?youseenothing
Just like that, yes. Now hold still. [[Humming a quiet tune, she goes to measuring. First his arms, which she writes down once done, then the length of his torso from neck to just below his hips.]]
iseeeverything
[John, on the other hand, is also trying his best to stay absolutely still so that Rose can take his measurements for...whatever it is that she's doing. He has no idea.]
noshush
Once she's done with those, she measures the width of his torso, as well as the circumference of his chest, waist, hips and arms. Once all of those are written down, she motions for Casey to come over!]]
You're free to put your arms down now.
noyoushoosh
Is it alright if I sit down now? Or do you need me for something else still?
[When motioned for, Casey skitters over excitedly, bouncing slightly in front of Rose with barely-contained glee.]
;~;
/embraces lovingly
;u; /cling
/chews on your ear...............lovingly.
[And yes, John has a feeling he might know why she needs Lestat. Though that still doesn't answer why Rose is taking meas--oh wait.]
Are you...going to make sweaters?
paodif eeee /nibbles on your nose c8
[[Good job, John. She may have to give you a cookie for guessing so well. And you are doing a wonderful job, Casey, and pretty soon she's letting you go sit down now!]]
Thank you, Casey. Now, Lestat?
this is completely silly.
[Pulling Lestat's pokéball off of his belt, he gives it a wary glance.]
Uh...okay. Head's up, he hasn't been out of the box in a while now. Sooooo... [So he has no idea what degree of bad mood Lestat will be in today. Casey, meanwhile, is going to scamper over to sit next to her daddy.]
It is. But you love it.
Guile? Would you please come here? We may need you around to pacify poor Lestat.
[[And, at the request, first a pair of purple ears poke out of the bag, followed by a yawning head and then the rest of an Espeon who was clearly napping. Streeetching a little, she trots over to the three of them and sits down, looking expectantly up at John.]]
i do. i so do.
