Dave, I would just like to show you this little gem.

I thought I would give you a good week or so to obtain it first, seeing as I was already a badge ahead of you, but this is getting ridiculous. I think I will change my goal of only obtaining useful badges. From here out, I will work towards all of them. We'll make this a competition, how's that sound? A friendly sibling rivalry.

Who can come to possess all eight badges first? Lalonde? Or Strider?

[[Chuckling, she tucks the badge back in her bag, straightening once more.]]

That said, I felt a celebration was in order. And, seeing as it is so warm out, what better way to celebrate than with a little summer party? John, Dave, you are both expected to attend, and I will not take no for an answer. You might want to dress water friendly.

Anyone else in the Violet area is perfectly welcome to come as well.

[[From here, the camera is turned, apparently to show of various attractions as she begins explaining everything.]]

We're equipped with Insufferable Prick, resident sprinkler system. The newest addition to my team, Haze, can offer plenty of cooler temperatures being an Ice Pokemon. Halos is more than willing to fetch you snacks or beverages if you'd like.

Yes you really have to. You have no choice in the matter. And is it? Is there a particular reason why it's easier? After all, one would think speaking your mind would be far more simple than typing it out.

What exactly is water friendly clothing?

Usually clothing made specifically for swimwear, such as bathing suits or bikinis for girls, swim trunks for boys. But really you are capable of getting wet in anything so long as you either have a dry outfit to change into, or don't mind sitting around waiting to dry off.
